Special Educational Need Center
Madania School is a school that welcomes and respects students with special education needs. One of the school’s philosophies that it is committed to uphold is “Education For All”. Madania Foundation recognizes everybody’s right to quality education, including students with special needs that are facing developmental problems and have learning difficulties to have access to elementary education up to a higher education. Currently however, there are not many colleges or universities that are accommodating these students with special needs. This condition becomes the background reason that Madania Foundation officially opens a vocational school that offers vocational training for students with special education needs with the aim of providing experience and vocational training for students with special needs to be better equipped in serving and competing amongst society. This mission is in line with the United Nation’s program to launch an ‘employment plan’ for adult autism persons and other adult persons with other disabilities.
The training program puts emphasis on life skills and vocational skills such as Arts and Craft, Animation and Graphic Design, and Farming and Husbandry. We offer Classes in: Arts and Craft, Animation and Graphic Design Farming and Husbandry. The study process is held every day from Monday through Friday with emphasis on life skills and vocational skills. Besides these major subjects students will also receive lecturing in subjects such as: Spirituality, Cultural Arts Physical Health Education Civics and Information and Communications Technology. After completing this Vocational Program it is hoped that the students are able to and are skilled in innovatively producing a variety of products especially in the field of Arts and Craft, Graphic Design, and Farming and Husbandry.
