This week, grade 9 students reviewed the lessons that had been delivered in the classroom for the preparation of final test. They had various learning techniques, such as having group discussions and practicing physics problems independently, guided by teacher.
At the first meeting of the week, students made electrical energy consumption posters. Theyt were divided into four groups, and each group did an interview to get information about what appliances used in the interviewee’s house. Each group was given the assignment to calculate the electrical energy consumption in a house.
At the second meeting, all students practiced physics problems according to the material to be tested in the final of this semester. Both the group discussion or problem practice learning techniques are expected to help students recall the lessons that have been delivered. (Enni Nuraieni)
